Brand New. 10 little fingers. 10 little toes. So many snuggles, so many coos.

Whether we meet in the hospital for a "fresh 48" just hours after you welcome your new little one, or once you are settled back at home, we can capture all the sweet and perfect moments between you and your new little sweet pea.

Safety

Safety is my first priority during a newborn session. Posing these new humans can be a challenge so I tend to follow their lead and pose however they are most comfortable. I find this leads to the most beautiful, natural images and allows you, as the parents, to feel most at ease during the session. I always ask parents to be close by and sometimes hands on during posed shots to help the little ones feel most secure. Patience is key with newborn sessions as babies have agendas of their own!

Timing

Since we can't know exactly when this precious human will grace us with their presence, we will pencil in your due date and schedule an exact day once the baby arrives (Usually 10-21 days after birth).

Location: In home

For your convenience as new parents, I travel to you and we have the session in the comfort of your own home. When I arrive, I will find the room with the best natural light and we will work in there.

Location: In hospital- Fresh 48

With permission for visitors from the maternity center, I will come to your room and get the freshest, sweetest, most raw moments of you and your little family before you are discharged home.

What do I get?

Newborn sessions receive 2 hours of dedicated time with your newborn and family. All edited high resolution downloadable images in your private online gallery.

Small props provided.
